My rear wiper has a mind of its own. It stops as soon as you press the button instead of returning to the start position and on intermediate it goes all the time. If using the washer it also stops wherever it feels like.

Any ideas?

Also my rear demister isn't working all the time.

Re: Rear wiper

Sounds probable that where the wires pass from the rear body work in to the door are damaged.

If you remove the rear door card and the trim where it enters the body work you will be able to trace the continuity of the wires.
Either just tugging on them which may result in one or more just pulling out or using a multimeter to test for resitance/volts.

Re: Rear wiper

i had the same problem and my rear door did not open via the central lock system so i took the rear panel off and to my suprise the plastics tube which held the wiring had a split and the wires were cut. I managed to solder them together and i managed to solve some most of the problems.

If you find that you need a motor for the wiper contact Martin (member name: buckalec) as i just purchased one from him. Rgds Leo
