First glance - there are 772 Gs for sale - is there something we don't know about?

yes, i got my current G from there about 3 weeks ago. Many, if not most of them are overpriced or rough looking.

There's always quite a few on but as lphong points out a lot are very rough and some are over priced.

Also for what it's worth, I've keeping an eye on my particular G model and noticed that there are actually a lot less on offer than normal.

So does that imply a lot more Gs than usual or a lot less?
You'd think they have at least a few 10,000s in the car fleet so what's 10% or so for sale at any one time...if my estimates are anywhere near accurate...

Well supposedly 95% of Gs are still on the road. I can't remember what portion is civilian but quite a lot and presumably a huge chunk of them is in Germany. So.... 772 is probably only about 1 or 2%.....

Re: Anybody looked at mobile.de lately?

I am sure Morty will correct me but I think it's just shy of 200,000 over 30 years.

I was basing the 1 or 2% on a very rough guess of numbers in civilian hands and in Germany (as the vast majority on mobile.de are in Germany).

Don't forget a large chunk of Gs are in Military use or abroad.
