A blind man was talking to his sighted friend, the friend asked the blind man what he did at the week-end. The blind man told him he had been parachute jumping. The sighted friend was sceptical and asked how he knew when to jump out of the plane. The blind man told him the instructor told him when to jump, and to bend his knees just before hitting the ground to absorb the impact. The friend said, ''I know you did not do any parachuting, because how would you know when to bend your knees just before hitting the ground?''
The blind man replied, ''I know just when to bend my knees, when the dogs lead goes slack''.
