Offroading/greenlaning in the christmas holiday.
I was wondering if someone was doing some trip in the christmas holiday period, not the whole period...but a day, or a couple of days. Im very keen on meeting some G enthousiasts and take my new baby on a trip. Anywhere in europe is fine!

I know a few people are going to north africa but most of those are multi-week trips. Assuming I still have my G by then then I might be interested in a little European trip.

We have great offroading in Latvia(I think there was comfortable ship Hamburg-Ventspils), not so far from Poland, if you are interested... Some local offroad partys are every weekend/month... :) we don`t have mountains, but we have lot of untouched woods and swamps... :)

Now in Lv weather: http://www.4x4klubs.lv/2009/10/kurland-trophy-1-diena-by-tolx/ (last stage of local championship in grand tourism two weeks ago). In this month we have already two great offroading partys scheduled. Till new year maybe I will have w460, thinking to sell w463 because I`m interested more in offroading.... :)

Yea, maybe I scared you little bit too match with swamps :D Don`t worry, we have light tourism too(my G is standard too with cheap wheels)... :) In winter, if we will get minuses and snow(last spring was more snow then in winter), all swamps and woods will be frozen and then standard G is very good to drive offroading... :)

Poland is good, especially in the south-eastern region close to ukraine. But how about Spain? I always wanted to go there! Mortinson's photos look fantastic!

I was planning to go to morocco, but I decided that i want to spend x-mas with my family this year...
So I'm looking for some adventure on the other days...
Wales? Scotland? Sierra Nevada? Sweden in the snow? Poland?
