Hi all, as you might remember i sold my G a few months ago. (i was moving house and it was one less thing to move!)

Now i find myself lusting after one again, im evening trying to make the wife think she wants one!

Im not sure what to do, buy a 460 to have some fun with or a nice 463 for the forth car slot in the driveway :?

Or is no G syndrome only a short term thing........

463 - you can do both! Get a 500 and you can join the 'Fat Cat ' brigade! :P

Spider1V - 500 it says 'I can off road or I can on road but most of all I can drink lots of petrol!'

463.... you can still off road and have fun... plus do it in comfort... in other words probably an easier sell to the wife!

Peter perfect i've got a Nissan and a zuki SJ and a CJ7. been thinking of a Yota but a G is calling again,

its not getting any better as there is a SWB 463 in the village in my favourite G colour........

i've been thinking about asking him if he wants to sell it!

Well its like this

CJ7- had a long standing argument with my best friend since we where 4 over which was best Land Rover or Jeep (my Dad had a landy and his farther a Jeep) When we where about 18 he bought a landy so i "had" to buy a jeep! then almost killed myself in a big RTA in it and rebuilt it afterwards and dont think i will ever sell it.

Zuki- Challenge and trialing truck small light and goes everywhere.

Nissan- my daily drive 500miles a week on tarmac and several miles off road

G- I want one!

Must admit every now and again I miss my G but I also defected to the Nissan patrol camp, got one of the earlier shaped ones and then upped the engine from 3.3 to the 4.2 Diesel.
Even the 3.3 had more poke than the standard 3 litre diesel G, the 4.2 is a decent lump, and it comes in turbo flavours also.
Plus there cheaper to buy and get parts for.

Would I still buy another G For the right price, probably, but I would struggle with the performance now as I do a bit of towing.
