Blower blows fuses
Hello G-heater fans,
The blower in my 460 works OK but blows fuses -Is this the beginning of the end ?
I have tried 15w but they melt in about two minutes - any ideas ?
Jimmy
look in your handbook to see what else that fuse is for, if you have a/c then the same fuse runs the cooling fan for the a/c if thats running and you have the a/c on then try the fan blower without the a/c on. It could be the electric fan on its way out thats causing the fuse to overheat.
on one condition, you pay for me and the family to come to oz. Deal ??
u fink thats cheap my ancesters were sent out there for nufink. all they had to do was nick a potato and they were on the ship mate.
Change the blower motor.
According to the owners handbook for the 280GE, fuse F 10 serves the heater blower, relay, heated rear window, automatic transmission: kickdown and microswitch 1st gear, supplementary heater.
