check buckalec on this forum he has some
but they might be the large check
Hi John the vehicle must be pre 1984...(small check) if you give the Vin Number WDB460........to your MB main dealer.MB Germany will have the original cloth pattern Number ..whether they can supply is another thing....easier to salvage two centre paels and extend the side leatherette/Mtex to either side of the remaining material centre panel.....
Or recover the headrests in vinyl and salvage the cloth from them.
Is this it? http://gwagenpreserve.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=fl...
These guys have a load of other bits. Might be worth asking them.
easıeast, cheapest and maybe the quickest way is to find merc breaker that has a 190E 2.3-16v . the leather and cloth version share the identical pattern as the 460 series up until it was changed to the wide grey check in 1986.
huss man, 190e 2.3 16 are a good option, but i wouldn't say the quickest or the easiest! you need to fab new sub frames real carefully or they end up too high, and you also need transmission console surgery on the drivers side. i've done it a few times, but it isn't bolt in!
see you soon dude!
i knew you would anwer this one.... :P
how you doing geez! hope all is well in sidcup.
i know its not that simple but if you help the bloke,it'll be a piece of cake
you know, cos you have done it before.. have you still got pics of the interior you fitted in that black cabrio 460? it was a spendid job.
take care dude..
Thanks to all for your help. It is the only other G in the city i live in and we help each other. Shall show him the options. Thank you
