axles
are the ratio of g-wagon axles all the same? if so what is the ratio please, i couldnt find it on the internet. I am wondering now wether it is worth the effort of putting them on my mitsubishi. if i decide to pass them on, how much should i be expecting for the pair please?
The axle ratios are not the same, they do differ according the part of the world the G-wagen is meant for.
The ratio can be got from the axle stamp riveted on the axle.
The gears, I would have thought could not be simply swoped over to a Mitsubushi axle, you would need to transfer the whole axle. In my opinion not worth the effort. The final ratio factors in, the gearbox and transfer box ratios. I feel the difference will not give any noticeable advantage. Besides which you need to engineer the axles to the chassis.
You might as well get a G-wagen.
