Will I or wont I???

Hi Guys,

I had a G wagen a few years ago and I'm on the hunt again. This time I'm looking for a bit of a rough one. Just for off-roading and the likes.

I have had a look at one and I'm tempted if the price is right!

Unfortunately there are one or two things wrong with her:
1. The 4wd stick wont move across from the 4wd side to 2wd side. It feels like there is something solid in the way and will not let it slide across.

2. Back diff light not turning on- not sure if that can be something simple?

3. Getting it in to 3rd is a bit sticky, would this be solved if the linkages were redone? or would it be more to do with the box itself?

I know it looks a bit messy but I don't mind doing a bit of work on her. Any help much appreciated.
