Hi All.

Does anyone know where I can get a complete replacement of the Interior Word Trim?

I Would like any other finish apart from the wood, I feel like im sitting inside a grandfather clock!

I have found some sites from the US but they are for LHD 2002 up.

You can get them from MB - there are a variety of different wood finishes... some look more modern than others but be ware they are not cheap....

I think the centre console alone is a few hundred...

I've seen some people fit carbon interiors.... maybe try orc....

Hi I have a very good source for stripping. new veneer and re lacquer in Zebrano and Burr Walnut.....lower centre console total rework GBP 300. upper console GBP 210. dash strip and door plates GBP 180 plus postage...add fifty pounds per piece if stripped in fume cabinet....repairs only.. quote after inspection..FYI centre console new from MB Euro 960 + vat and postage 6 to 8 weeks delivery.MB only have stock for LHD G's.Can strip existing lacquer and veneer ready for personalised non veneer final finish for GBP 50 per piece. some glues/lacquers used on early panels contain formaldehyde..hence the fume cabinet......
