Just took the 83 460 300GD for its MOT. Passed the emissions test first Rev aparently you get 6 tries. This is not bad for an engine 26 years old thats never had any work on it. Slight problem was the whole garage stank of chips! I suppose the emmissions are much better anyway on veggie oil.
I'm feeling very green, owning two big 4x4's running on Green fuels , the 463 is on LPG. Also its very cheap :D . mind you i'm glad the previous owner forked out for the multi-point LPG system! He didn't do much mileage in the G and I reckon the conversion cost him 25p a mile!
I've been challenged several times over having the G's from a Green point of view and it's great to put people right!

Hi Shakir

It has a very comprehensive system. Direct injecton into each in take. Cost the previous owner over 2K. The system is a OMVL Dream XX1c. Fitted by a local firm Erme Valley Autos.

Works very well, my only comment is the Engine needs to be up to Temp before tackling traffic.

Cheers
