After a long, long search I found her.
She was untouched...pure!
It was love at first sight!!! I hope I spend the rest of my life with her.
A few pictures of the first day we met....

Re: Love story...

She lived in different country,
but now she came to live with me...
since she's almost 16, I decided it was time for her to lose her virginity

Lovely motor.like the bullbars too.. I really must decide whether to spend money on mine or buy another one already in good condition. Maybe if I talk nicely to the mrs and sell one of my others. ummmmmmmmm could be a long process!!

Yes, it's shod with 235/85R16 BFGoodrich MTs. Very pleased with them. I had it with 235/85R16 BFGoodrich Track Edges but for the use I give it I prefer a mud tyre. As I said in a previous post, I would not go any bigger than 32" with the 113 HP engine.

On the road they are pretty good, but mine is a SWB and a manual...

be pleased. It looks like it has a Becker Grand Prix single CD player. Don't scrap that, they look great

Re: Love story...

pleased? More like euphoric! It's like this truck was built for me...
...engineers and designers managed to crawl into my brain and distill my perfect dreamcar...I traveled the whole sahara in a def 90 td5. And I loved its purpose built looks and off road ability. The built quality sucked and electrics kept failing. I was contemplating of building a pre electronics defender 110, equip it with sound proofing, automatic transmission and arb lockers...then a friend of mine bought a 460 swb Diesel 300gd. And it blew my mind! Even this basic workhorse was more composed and capable than my defender. On the ferry to a wales greenlaning trip the old little 300gd was mocked by the whole big lifted simex crew. The little G shamed all the other trucks! My def with all the goodies included! At that point a long search began for my dream "G". I am keeping it as stock as possible! This winter...Morrocco, This summer...Iceland! Woohoo!!!
