Re: Roof Rack

Patriot Roofracks in Bedfors make one that fits the G. Great piece of kit but it ain't cheap. Recently there was another make on eBay and it went for about £200. Good luck in your search.

Re: Roof Rack

Thanks I'll take a look at Patriot.....................Well! Rang them and yes they make them to order!!!! For my LWB I need a 2.5 rack at £960, luggage bars at £140 and ladder at £155 takes about 2 weeks to complete.
So thanks for lead but way too much for me........Soooooooo anyone got any cheaper ideas? There must be a rack that fits off another motor surely!!

Re: Roof Rack

How about getting any old rack, welding it to any old bars, weld them to the appropriate fittings and then, if you think it necessary, weld them to the G? I have standard Thule bars and fittings on mine.

Re: Roof Rack

As far as I know defender racks fit but sit high. I think twodogs fitted one...

If you're putting it to serious use and on rough terrain then I would consider spending "enough" as you do get what you pay for with racks...
