Well back to reality with a bump, fly back from Spain, arriving home at 4am and in work for 9:30

Left the G with my sons and it maybe on a ferry by now.

Anyway a brilliant trip, lots of variety through mud, rain, soft sand, rocky desert, mountain piestes through to the craziness of Marrakesh.

Apart from the first day or so of rain/mud the weather was perfect mid to high 30’s just right :D :D

Thought you may like some pictures.

Thanks Huss.

They are 31x10.50x15.
Slightly larger than std. IMHO I wouldn't go any larger without altering the diff ratio’s. For my taste 2nd low is now a little too long. On road a slight improvement meaning that 75mph+ is not so frantic.

Economy was excellent, up to 26mpg We all filled up at exactly the same points. LR 110 TD5 was amazingly close to the G (within a litre every time). Discovery 300TDi auto same consumption as the G. Discovery TD5 was significantly more economical. As you would expect I guess given the more advanced electronic engine management.

We did travel alot lighter than the others though :)
