I started hearing my right front CV. I know in South Africa they recondition cv's, but I don't know about here.

Any advice on this or maybe suppliers?

Hi Christo make sure it is not a partially siezed front difflock ram. if you are getting clatter on tight turns only then it could be the CV... try rotating the wheels off the ground on full lock..and if it only clicks in reverse it could be the speedo cable......

No, it is the cv, only clicks on tight turn. I think it ran dry for a while, judging from all the grease that sits around that corner.

Have you still got one stashed away in some deep cupboard?

Hi Christo try packing the housing with good quality grease.to access look for a large allen key type bung or 17mm hexagon head to the rear of each housing. it could take a cartridge or two if most of it has oozed out past the wiper seal..clean the area until you can see the ball end shiny and inspect the wiper seal by removing the bolts holding the seal retaining flange...clean the seal and coat with vaseline. replace and pack the housing with Lubriplate waterproof marine grease or similar..as you say chances are it is dry in there...I have not got a cv but there are a lots of posts relating to this problem including one by "tyreman" which will help if you need to replace it ......
