MMmm I suspect it was going to accompany someone leaving Africa for a LHD region of the world. Ghana I believe still drives on the Left and the G' has red side markers!! which might be a clue....perhaps they could not find and accomodating external bank account to receive the rest of the funds !!

Saw that last week when I went to pick my car up from a service. Its had all the upgrades done to bring it up to date too, all but the headlights. I had a look at the car, and must admit I was drooling too! I wish mine was black now.
Well with nothing else to do I have been doing some digging while here in Ghana. The telecoms exec must have worked for the Ghana tel which was sold rather too cheaply to Vodafone. Speaking with some of the guys in the Brit High Commission, there is a lot of fall out over this deal, and there have been several resignations both here (Ghana) and soon to be in Vodafone!
It appears a number of cars have been brought and paide for, by 'illicit' funds and putting 2+2 together it seams as if our mystery G is one of them...... So at any time it will possibly be a) either repatreated, b) seized by one or other governments as evidence or c) sold off rather cheap (any one know who can do a RHD conversion? :P )
