Water Leak

One of my welsh plugs (I think that's what they are called) is leaking water on the driver side of the engine of my 280. Is there a way of fixing it in the car?

I am replacing the engine within the next few months (once I have decided with what), so I don't want to take out the engine now.

Hi Christo think you mean "core" plugs!! 33p each from MB but try Crewe Engines Ltd.. the hardest part is fitting it..if you want to do a temporary repair buy a tin of " Hard Metal " or "Belzona" paste.. clean the area thoroughly and fill the cavity with the paste...has been known to last 12 months ..and more...
