Its a smaller bore version of the 3 litre engine in the 463 so should fit but why would you want to as the power gains are not that great for the work involved. Fitting a 2.3 Cosworth engine would be much more fun!

a bigger bore exhaust and a k&n filter will or ought to give a 5-10% power gain on either engine, neither require a catalyst so if one is fitted remove it apart from that not much though if your car is lhd you could fit a turbo technics twin turbo kit to the 2.6 engine. This could potentially give 300bhp.

Hi If it is any help I have a 230GE engine with 9000miles run since a Crewe Engines rebuild... it is as removed from a SWB 230GE that was involved in an accident. the engine was removed by ourselves and is stored on a shipping pallet. document available from the company that sold the G.with this engine fitted showing the mileage and date that the engine was installed .....make me an offer and I will arrange the shipping ---at cost

Yes, I know of one such example... goes like s**** out of a shovel. And with a home-made hardtop too!
