rebuild commences
my g is in to be tarted up, some parts of bodywork fixed, and reprayed, just collected the rear bumpers - taking them off to powdercat tomorrow along with bullbar and some bits and bobs
took all wheelarches and rubbing strips off
will get some pics of it progress in a few days
took my mate ages to get rear number plate holder thing off bumper - what a pain that was!
Sounds good!
Eagerly awaiting for some inspiring photos.
looks like a lot of splendid effort going into the paint job..is that water based paint??.if it is what product did you use for the primer coat...the profile of the rear arches confirms it was factory built with wide wheels and arch extensions.....
Hi looks great!! did you do anything with the engineering-interior-service elements? and more important what did it all cost??
Hi that G' was a good spec with the nine seats.I was top bid on Ebay at GBP2900 when some ***^**@** bid it up to GBP 4000 and then walked away..had an interested party here in Northern Ireland...you can reset the timing on the pump to get more fuel into the cylinders...about 15% better performance as a result..still very slow when cold......Congratulations --a nice G'....
Have you/will you be refitting the bullbar?
heres pics of her today
rear bumper is at powdercoat, all holes and scabs fixed and primed, primer going on later
