Hy all !

I don't know if I am in the rigth place, but I am sure that someones will move this topic in the good forums if it is not the good place

So, after one year, I propose you here some pic of my new building
It's built ONLY with 280GE part. Only the cooling is not from a G-wagen.
The exhaust collector is home-made and the end come from a renault Formula3000.

All the detail are in this page, on the french Pirate4x4 :

where did you get the wheels from, did you do the beadlocks yourself ?

Re: My new proto

Yes, all is completely home-made.
For the wheel, I used old triangular. Un-weld the midle, weld it 5cm more inside. For the bead-lock, I cut with plasma the ring, made the hall, welded them, and that's all.

Here some pictures of this part :

thanks, and don't hesitate to ask more detailled !
I have more than 1000 differents pictures of the built, and I like the idea to share with anyone

Where did you get the standard rims you started with?

Re: My new proto

Hello,
I've cutted them with a plasma cutter, and after, I used a turning-machin to clean the border.
I'm not sure about the words I used, because it's a little bit technical !
But I hope it's enough clear, tell me 8)
