Breakdown Cover
Bought my 91 463 with the express desire to take it to France this Summer on a camping trip. Hit a snag in that Green Flag won't cover a car over 10 years old out side the UK (also had a hissy fit when they realised they'd given me full cover on the 83 460 last year :twisted: )
So querry is what do other 10yr+ G owners do for cover abroad? or do you trust in Merc reliability??

Worth checking your insurance mine has UK & European breakdown included in the policy.
I used Britannia Rescue (with a 1994 Discovery) a few years ago and had a breakdown in France. They were very helpful.
I used AA European breakdown cover. They also said that normally they wouldn't cover an older-than-12-year-old car, but made an exception to the rule. Otherwise, I've insured my G with NFU and they definitely have European breakdown cover if you require it.
Whats breakdown cover? :lol:

Check the detail/size of cover veh provided, they were only undertaking to provide a Corsa sized replacment
And this for an overloaded Galaxy!!!!, on AA 5***** cover too

Britania it is! Shopped around by far the best deal....no age limit on Car.......humm should i take the 460...????
