Certificate of Conformity for G being imported into France
Hi,
Someone may have been over this ground before and may save me a few frustrating calls.
I want to import my G into France ie put it on French Plates. The start of this process involves getting a Certificate of Conformity out of them.
I presume this COC is centrally managed in France. Does anyone have the contact of that Merc entity in France.

Hi Myles call 00800 1 777 7777 MB Customer Assistance (24hour) tell them you want a certificate of conformity for registering your G' with the French authorities (Not Import) as both Eire and France are in the "Common Market" you will have to give them the vin number .......
I needed to get one when I imported my one to the UK. Speak to MB UK and they will sort one out for you for a small fee.
