I am considering selling my 1987 280GE LWB Auto A4. It is pretty good overall but has a few niggles. There are some pics in my profile but I will update them. What is the best way to go about it and what info is most helpful to potential buyers ? Any advice/help welcome Cheers Gary

Re: Advice on selling my G

I sold my 1987 300GD on ebay for a reasonable price (1870 if my memory serves me correctly!) last September.

Sold it straight away... but the buyer delayed the collection for a week or so, which made me very nervous.

Put what has been done to your vehicle in recent years... and perhaps a few funny sentences as well?

Please read your PM, i will send you what I wrote so that you can have a look!

I agree. Put as much detail as you can about what's been done, don't talk it up too much especially with rubbish like 'first to see will buy' and be totally honest about the 'niggles'. I think that makes people feel at ease. Most importantly, don't be greedy! Cars are invariably worth more to their current owners than to anyone else.
