Hi All,

So, some of you have asked what is 'Airsoft' so here we go...

basically it is running around playing 'cowboys and Indians' for grown up, men who are in their mid life crises (AKA Me), and it seems to be a way of getting fit. We have what are called RIF's (Realistic Imitation Firearms) and we shoot at each other with 6mm plastic ball bearings. When you are hit you rely on the 'Honor' system of calling yourself out and waiting to 're gen' before you go back in.

This in from one of my team. (The Armadillo Combat Unit - ACU) We did a competition last week at an Afghanistan training camp (we won!) and the team wanted some 'posy' photos of them and the G - It has now been coerced into being the team battle bus! Should alos be in some of the Airsoft publications.

enjoy..

Uh, they do take their gear seriously! How long does a "game" last?

Anything from half an hour to two days!

We have two people who use them, mainly WWII load out. One is a 'springer' and the other is gas cartrige. The trick though is to make sure they are under the site limits of 350FPS and you should be OK. Any more and it will casue problems
