power window
Hi all G-mates,
I found on ebay http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&it...
and I am thinking of putting them on my G. Any idea what else do I need (switches, relau etc) for a complete installation?
Thanks Angelos.
I would assume that you need the full Monty (motor assembly, switchs, cabling, relays) Assuming that you can get the motor assemblies as cheaply as those -which I am unsure, as I am trying to contact the vendor myself- I would go for them and source the rest of the stuff from a breaker's yard or German Ebay... I wouldn't go for used motors as the glass in the G is very heavy and they get very, very tired.
Cheers!
Those window regulators are not MB ones. They appear from the picture to include the motor. Bosch sells the motor separately for £150+. So they are cheap parts if the quality is there. I would want to closely examine one prior to purchase as there is alot of stress on the components. It is a UK company selling on German ebay, are they selling on UK also?
Roly,
I have asked to be sure that the motor is included, the answer was positive. They sell even to Greece  , I assume that they sell to UK as well. Concerning the guarantee I am not sure but a UK G-mate could give us the info :D
Mortinson,
I believe that if we know the type of relau we could buy one brand new from a Bosch dealer for example. There are switches on ebay. The only think that we have to find is that the drivers switch and relau is different than the co-drivers one. I believe the drivers window is moving up in two different ways, one all the way up and second partially.
Any way I believe if those window regulators covered by guarantee worth to try them 8)

Angelos, do you have an e-mail address for the vendor? The one on Ebay does not seem to work.
