460 Fuel Pump
Help - where in the vehicle would I find the fuel pump for my 280GE (460)?
in front of the petrol tank ..between the tank and the rear axle....it could have a tin guard over it.
fuel pump relay above fuse box bottom of dash below the steering wheel.undo the two screws holding the fuse box in place it drops down and all will be revealed.. you will hear it click when you turn the ignition on and the pump will run for 5 seconds... and then run again as you turn to the start position
if you are replacing your fuel pump make sure the hosing you use to join is not too short as (I know to my cost that) there needs to be some flex
