From the amount of automotive topics they cover, this College gives a good impression for me, as to its competence in the motor technology courses.
I expect, level one will cover for you the very basics, wheel changes, jacking points, levels checks, may be going onto oil changes, and other level checks.
General safety issues, whilst working on cars, being in charge of a vehicle, responsibilties to others and your self etc, etc...
But in this ten weeks I doubt if they will go into any diagnostics, just things like bulb changes, battery changes, checking antifreeze levels, keeping the screen wash checked and maintained properly, checking all exterior lights and purhaps the importace of being prepared, with spare fuel, proper contigent of tools, jack and wheel brace, etc, etc...
On the whole you would only gain from such a course, if you are a novice, this will give you the appreciation of building from what you learn there.
Good Luck,
Thanks Rakesh. That's pretty local to me so I'll give them a shout.
