G55 Wheel Arches/Bumpers Question?
Hi All,
Any one know the cost of parts to have the arches to be fitted? Bought G55 wheels and rims...and now sticking out a bit ...so looking to have them appropriately covered! Do the bumpers need extending also if you go down this route?
Thanks,
Ferdi
hi ferdi,
i've been thinking about getting the G55 rims as well.
if you have some spare time, could you take a quick pic to show how much did they stick out?
i'm very curious to see what they look like
thx
Hi Ferdi www.orc.de they have sets that stick out from 8" to 10" have a look.
or Mercedes ones are around £2000 + from when I made enquiries last year, was going to do the same thing but gave up at the end.
anyone ever stick them on a SWB? wonder what that would look like...
Ferdi - just sell your G and buy a G55... or even Gooch's....
Gooch - where about are you going to be?

Mr. Sav,
Here are two photos that I found of a SWB and a Cabrio with G55 AMG rims.

certainly wouldn't say no to a cabrio.

The arches looks pretty good on the cabrio
I think the g55 arches look daft, i'd keep with original, my Mayr had them on a 460 with original arches and it looked nuts
I suppose they come in handy for putting cups of coffee on, they could also double as a handy cutting board when camping

lol - except for the slope. besides i thought that's what the bonnet was for, plus its heated so it keeps your food/drink warm.
i think Gooch was horrified by the scratches on my G.

No I wasn't, It's been off road plenty of times - you have to expect these things when going through the ruff terrain I suppose......
Did you enjoy your quick drink? :D
doesn't look too bad, imo
does it show much from the front, maybe at 45 degree angle?
Hi All
Out of interest how much was the price from Klasse, i am thinking doing the same to my G
oh my god...stunning!!!
