Black G55 AMG 09 Plate
Spotted in London this afternoon behind Selfridges. New shape with the new grill and alloys etc. Looked amazing. Brand new, UK registered with an 09 plate.
Key question, LHD or RHD?

A LHD 500 from diplomatic sales would be about €96k (Feb/09)

As for keeping your nationality pure... don't forget virtually all of the LHD drive Gs are owned by foreigners... ok excepting maybe a few dozen or two owned by Brits... :lol:

Yes, i think it was the same guy, but i might be mistaken, it could of been a new 320 cdi, he was having trouble with the new xenon front head lights being fitted, not being type approved? and had asked me for some help. I think he ended up changing them back to the standard flat beam type like the ones fitted to my G, and picking up the tab?
Does that mean there might be a set of new Xenon headlamps out there for sale...hmm

I just saw a black 09 G55 this evening with the new grill but it had Dubai plates. Parked near Harvey Nicks.

Yep, I still need to re compress them and upload them on to the club web site, I did try one or 2 when I came back but their size wouldnt allow them to load up correctly. But I will see what I can do one evening this week?
