The year of the first census. Also disappearing fast are Daft, Death, Smellie, not to mention Gotobed, Shufflebottom and Jelly. All fine names from the middle ages which are dying out from embarrassment.....anyone on here changed an embarrassing name by deedpoll. A lad from work changed his from Tucknutt because his fiancee refused to marry him and become Mrs Tucknutt.
A guy I knew changed his name from Wilfred Shuttlebottom to Harold.........Shuttlebottom,............. no me neither.
