- how much oil is required in a W460 280 GE?

many thanks in advance for any assistance

James, I am sorry you have the wrong tool, but you did say hex. key, if you take a look at the very first tool listed in picture above, listed 003.jpg, you will notice tool number, 000 589 24 07 00. As I mentioned to earlier in my reply, if not 14mm, it should be 17mm. Unless, it is a hex. head, in which case then the answer I gave would have been obviously wrong.

I have no doubts Halfords should refund your tool, again, I am sorry to have caused you this inconvience, but the evidence has been presented. The only other thing is that someone has adapted a modification.

I think that generically these plug sizes are paired together and in some instances you can get a double sided tool with the 14mm and 17mm together. I did try to measure it before i went out and even when i bought the 14mm one i was still certain that it was too small. Amazing what you can learn about the most mundane objects.

My old G has been sitting on the drive all Winter and I really need to get it back on the road and put a smile back on my face.

Thanks again for your help.

Regards,

James

Is the 17mm too small also?, if so the next size I can think of is a 21mm hex.
