In the pix you can see A good quality Halfords battery listed for my 300GE
with 680CCA, and next to it is an Odyssey with 680CCA (starts the car without any probs) Look at the difference in size. I have just managed to fit an Odyssey PC1700 and a PC925 in the battery bay with my usual Charging set up. I think is good to make a mental note of this for future reference if anyone is interested in a dual battery set up.
First I used the PC680 but later used PC925 not that the first one is not up to the job but because I had enough space to fit a bigger one.
Amazing things these Odyssey batteries.

When I looked into a pc1700, I thought that it would be too big for the tray. Can you take a pic please?

PC 1700 with metal jacket needs a rubber hammer to fit. without the jacket it is a good fit, will take pix tomorrow.

Pc 2250 will fit but at €470 is not cheap, I prefer a dual battery set up. Feel better that way. No risk of draining the starter at all.
