Much as I applaud DIY efforts I think you should get your local window centre to pop them out for you.

I tried on my 280 and one came out no probs but the other went in a million pieces while applying the same pressure in the same place.

Have fun!!

Mike

2-3 person job.

1-2 use feet to apply pressure at top/bottom

3rd person then slowly unpeels rubber on inside at top/bottom.

Preferably even 4th to catch it or something soft.

Nerve wracking but doable DIY with enough bodies.

Ok so I'm fool hardy. I did it on my own using sticky tape on the outside loose at the window edge and secure on the roofline so it wouldnt drop to the floor and secure on the window pane.

Push and peel from the inside worked on one side but when I attempted the same manouvre on the other side, disaster!

Oh well.

In the interest of accuracy I removed mine on my own and replaced with the sliding unit, hence having the spares. Just peeled back the rubber on the inside and kept pushing (hard). Like a lot of things, I didn't know I couldn't do it.

Hey!

Thanks for the replies :) One thing I forgot to mention is that they are sliding windows in there not the bog standard ones :)

Many thanks
