Russian site gives approx year as 1991
and V5C give 2 july 1993
can some one give me data from elsewere :?

Hi Chris the order sequence number reflects the fact that it was ordered in the first six months of 1991...100% it was built in 1991 ...and ordered by the GB / MB main dealer......the Grey one here was had order number 04718 and was ordered in January 1991 on an H prefix UK plate.....

Don't worry about the V5C saying 1993. That's the date it was first rigisterd in the UK not the date of manufactour. It could be that your G was held in Germany from 2 year+ be for they shiped it over.

I would trust the Russian site. It would heart to ring MB and ask them to check for you
