where is the battery in a g55!
yesterday when out picking up an interior from needamerc I got the chance to have a nose around his 05' g55(and a play in his mog :D ), there's no battery under the bonnet! where is it? if I ever get my hands on one I will need to know this as I will have to disconnect it before I take the con-saw to it to make a g55 crew cab pick, well you wouldnt want all those electrics getting damaged!! :D :D of course I'm joking guys, but I am interested where it is.
under the floor in the back seat area I think.

Behind nearside rear wheel arch. Lift up carpet panel + you'll see a snap clasp attached to a rounded metal plate. Battery lurks below. Bit of a bugger to replace.

Not unless it is a 2000 or earlier....
The new G55 don't have a battery, they use air to start, thus Kompressor 8)
