GE300 emngine number
Can anyone help to locate the engine number on the GE300?
should be on your registration document, can't say I've ever looked for it inside the engine bay but normally stamped into the block
Me thinks, it is on the n/side, rear of block stamped on the bell-housing OR
at the bottom of the block, again on the n/side of engine towards the sump.

A faced area on the engine block indented/stamped into the metal... Not visible by peering in from the side as it is underneath the inlet manifold...not to be mistaken for the casting numbers which are raised digits......

Found it, lowest point of the engine block, right hand side(manifold site) can only be seen from underneath.Thanks everyone
