Just wondering if there has ever been a London to Brighton G run?

Great idea. I used to do the Land Rover L2B and it was always great fun. The next question is - how many Gs are there in the UK? and how many would turn up? What's the record for the largest number of Gs gathered in the UK?

Lenny, no but if you fancy organising it then I am sure a few of us would turn up, sound like a day out to me.

What do you think the collective noun would be for G's then? Perhaps there should be a competition in G-whizz to come up with one!

Re: London to Brighton.

Everyone knows that the collective noun is 'cluster' or 'mob'...

or maybe:

A shrewdness of apes
A battery of barracudas
A sleuth of bear
A kaleidoscope of butterflies
A quiver of cobras
An intrusion of cockroaches
A muster of crows
A convocation of eagles
A cast of falcons
A business of ferrets
A charm of finches
A skulk of foxes
A troubling of goldfish
A smack of jellyfish
A mob of kangaroos
An exaltation of larks
A troop of monkeys
A parliament of owls
A romp of otters
An ostentation of peacocks
A rookery of penguins
A prickle of porcupines
A murder of ravens
A shiver of sharks
A surfeit of skunks
An ambush of tigers
A pod of whales
A descent of woodpeckers
A zeal of zebras
A corps or tower of giraffes
A bloat of hippos
A crash of rhinos

BTW it's Gs not G's.

Gs is plural for G.

G's is "belonging to the G".

Gs' is "belonging to the Gs".

Surely the G is a Mountain Goat and thus a Trip of Gs... doubly so since that is what you take in one...
