I really hope that the release of the aggression helped :D
AND I hope you get your G back VERY soon
MURRRRRRRR...
I totally get your feeling although my problem is way less serious than yours!
Hope you will get it back soon.
Thank you very much for the message!

Well .. after 2 years of respray/rebuild .. I have a booked MOT tomorrow which sounds a little fun (1/2" this morning and nothing now) but doubt it will be an over the bonnet drift tomorrow morning.
So while one is off road.. another is getting there!
Just think of the extra bodywork you might have saved yourself.. 4x4 stop just as poorly as ordinary cars which seems to surprise them every winter up here...

I hate you sooo much
Glad someone was out enjoying the snow.
Rich nothing wrong with the ML that a few quid could not fix........ tell me in the new ML should the indicator stalk fall off in your hands and the drilled metal pedals fall to pieces?
Spider1V -*sigh* Still no G............
Oh I’d forgotten you were G’less
That Discovery you destroyed was probably written off and they went out and bought a nice 3 year old D3 for the price of your rear bumper the next day
I too was dreaming of G this morning whilst walking to work when a chap in an Astra nearly lost it trying to slow down for a bend. This made me realise that my old 460 probably wouldn't have fared any better. Going is a lot easier than stopping! Be careful out there folks.
any pictures?
Not long now Spider I hear they are just waiting for the tow bar to turn up..
still waiting for the pictures

Latest report, now not ready as the Brush Guard has STILL not come in.....*sigh*. Latest report that it will still be two weeks. :x
Spider1V - not in a happy mood and now going cold turkey....... :?
I'd lend you a 230 but it would spoil you
Seriously, hope you get it back soon.

Seriously though, hope you get it back soon.
Well, I only pressed send once.
I think this site's been at the blue smarties
Looks good mate but why did it take so long? Your accident happened at the same time as mine but I got my car months ago!
Not true on the rear cover. I had mine changed in my repair and its the same as before with the rubber insert. Plus the 2009 cars I saw in Dubai all were the same. They had to wait about 2+ months for mine to come through but I put pressure on and eventually they got it.
In total it took about 3months to get my car back and all the time I had the Range Rover. Made me realise just how good the G is! A few years back a Ferrari I had at the time had a minor front knock. It took more than 6 months to get the car back because they couldnt source a small panel at the front (in the end I sourced it for them!). Anyway all that time I had a brand new 911 targa and the final bill for the car hire was £52K! The damage was inly about £4K! Crazy stuff.
Good to see you have the V8 back, complete with new bits and colour-coding, I reckon a new bumper improves the front end quite a bit mainly due to the finish.
Hope you kept all the old pieces...there's a market for them on here you know :p Is the old wheel cover band available for sale?
glad you finally got it. the colour coding looks good.
and yes i agree - every new G i have seen had a rubber insert not a sticker on spare.
bumpers may be trashed but the bumper caps sell for a fair bit...
The lock is replaceable I believe (with some fiddling)...but more importantly what size is your spare tyre? As the bands come in slightly different sizes depending on the tyres fitted.
Thanks!
haha excuse my..inquisitiveness :p while I go take some measurements and make some calculations...
According to the tyre calculator
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
there's about a 5 inch difference in circumference, 2 inches in diameter..shame! Mine are 255/65/R16 (I think).
