New G in dakar
It looks like Daimler had a semi-factory outfit, or at the least sponsored a Unimog in this years Dakar. The Mog went under the team name FleetBoard (as did the three support vehicles), the heavy vehicle telematics division of Daimler. It was supported by a G 280 CDi (I'm guessing), Sprinter & Actros 6x6.
The Mog was running in 39th by Stage 14 with final standings to be confirmed
a proper white g-wagen, an antidote to the K8. Shame about the grill though, a curvy grill on a square truck looks plain daft.
