alternator swap
would a alternator off a 300gd 460 fit a 280ge and what voltage should i have at the battery when engine is running as i am getting 12.5v i am told this is to low
14.75 Volts. You need to renew your voltage regulator, all things being serviceable. These, can be bought seperately from a good local electrical supplier (automotive supplier or starter motor and alternator speicalist).
