I had a bunch of Canadian dollars I needed to exchange, so I went to the currency exchange window at the local bank.

Short queue.

Just one lady in front of me . . an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yen for dollars and she was a little irritated . . .

She asked the teller, 'Why it change?? Yesterday, I get two hunat dolla fo yen. Today I get hunat eighty?? Why it change?'

The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, 'Fluctuations' .

The Asian lady says, 'Fluc you white people, too'.

:P  :P

Re: Why It's Important To Understand English

Hey it's not just foreigners that have a problem with English!

The Story of Joe

Joe was a poor man who had lost his eye in a farming accident. He was unable to afford a proper glass eye and was tired of all the locals teasing him about his missing eye.

One day he had an idea, and being very handy at modelling, decided that he would make his own false eye. So that afternoon he took out his carving knife and began with great skill to produce a false eye out of wood. When he finished painting his new eye, he sat back proudly admiring his handy work.

Well a few weeks later he went to the local dance, but try as he might, he couldn't get any of the local belles to dance with him. Discouraged he sat in the corner watching the revellers dancing the night away.

Finally he saw a pretty but lonely and rejected looking girl sitting in the corner whom none of the guys would ask to dance. He soon realised this was due to the fact that she had a peg leg.

"Well he," he thought to himself, "she'll dance with me!" So plucking up his courage he sauntered over to the poor girl.

"Excuse me miss," he began. "Would you like to dance with me?"

But Joe's feelings were soon hurt as he couldn't understand why the youg girl, who otherwise seemed so excited that someone had finally asked her to dance, shouted out insults saying "Would I!"

Joe could only return her insult shouting "Peg leg... Peg leg!"
