G 500 Gas Update
Seems the torpedo tank idea won't work as not enough ground clearance.
so Exhaust can stay the same, proposal is to Instal 70ltr LPG tank where existing petrol tank is with a replacement 20ltr petrol tank in the centre. LPG system would be a 2008 BRC fully sequential multi point system. All certificated and guranteed for 2 years at a cost of £2400.00 Company is called Oxford Autogas. Any comments?
last 463 300 GES that was done over here had the exhaust trimmed to a side outlet single muffler under the drivers side.no cat....fifty five litres in between the chassis rails and thirty five ltrs under the passenger seat. this is the usable amount.impact shields under both was an option. LPG approved installer..GBP 1900 including the exhaust..... have a 460 SWB 280ge with main fuel tank removed and a 65Ltr usable tank installed. plus a reserve petrol capacity 15.5 ltrs in the aux tank behind the petrol filler cap..system set up to start on LPG or Petrol ...original exhaust..GBP 1450......both single point injection.....
