You just need some standard Euro-sized number plates to add the finishing touch.
Have you driven a 300 TD? I'm wondering what the 270 CDi is like to drive, compared to the 300 TD? On paper, the 270 has more power and better fuel economy.
I think it reality it has much better fuel economy - at least judging from spritmonitor.
But a lot more complex to maintain.

Have you driven a 270 or 320 CDi? What are they like? It seems that the 300TD has more torque but a lot less power.
Am I right in thinking that none of the CDi engines can use biofuels because it can damage the common rail injection or are there other reasons?

It is the other way around. I am talking by heart but I believe these figures to be accurate: G300TD has 177 HP and 310 Nm of torque. 270CDI has 156 HP and 400 Nm of torque.
Fuel economy is distinctly better in the 270 but it's loaded with electronics and therefore prone to stupid breakdowns.
Richard - no I haven't. But Fredecosse has definitely driven both. Though to be fair his G270 was a SWB and the G300TD was a LWB.
The G270 CDI can't use WVO out of the box but elsbett make a conversion kit specifically for this model.
