Spare wheel carrier on double rear door version of 460/461
I am looking for someone who has got 460 or 461 with double rear door.
I would like to know if the spare wheel carrier in the UK version is on the right (like in continental version) or on the left?
yes the uk rhd versions had the carrier on the right as well, my 230g has!
i think this comes down to the fact that there is extra strengthening sections behind the quarter panel that is only on the right hand side on the version that has the swing away carrier.
it is also on the same side on the rhd 460 soft tops with the flap down tailgate, coz ive got one of them as well.
never seen one on the left side
