On the van
because
the connector block was disconnected
Because
The bloody gearbox was broken
because
one of the three wee bolts had become loose
and
It had broken the other two aluminium/pot metal pillars
and
and it was walloping about
.
.
Now what was that rhyme about the horseshoe nail

Re: failed wiper motor

Talking of wipers....

The rear wiper in my G is possessed! When the door is closed the intermittent wipe function only does a 'half wipe' and will not return to the original place

However

When open it does?

Any Ideas, and potential way to rectify it?

I "think" your wires are damaged/broken
where the loom enters the rear door
when door shut wires pulled gap opens
door open loom compressed gap closes
mind your language now
