spark plug gap ?

My haynes says gap should be 0.8mm ( 0.032" ) ... but I have read elsewhere plug gap should be 0.039" ( which is what they are currently at )

??

Hi James not that critical on this engine ...are you running on premium unleaded fuel ??

Your Haynes Manual is right, but what you have set to is acceptable.
