I'm interested in getting in touch with any G owners that use there G-wagon (in whatever form) to compete in off-road competitions.

Not bother by who, where or how; just like to have a few people to bounce some ideas off :)

TIA

Wow about 80 views and nobody is about to 'fess up'. :)

Surprised - there are lots of people here who do them. But I'm not one of them...

Well I have done a lot of trials and some winch challenge stuff in Land Rovers.

I got a 300GD a couple of years ago and have been trying to find the time to get sorted. It looks as if the coming year will present me with that chance.

I was hoping to be about to 'prep' the G for winch challenges and that there would be someone on here that would be able to point out some of the pros and cons of using a G in this way.

I have already realised that I am going to have to replace the robust but somewhat asmatic diesel engine and it will certainly have to shed a bit of weight.........oh and the budget is Rizla thin :)
