I do hope you weren't talking about this joke:

What's green, slimy and smells like Miss Piggy?

Kermit's Finger.

BECAUSE IT IS REALLY NOT TRUE :!:

Hi Lara and Helen,

Really nice to have a chat with you girls and as for Take That, didnt know they where still going? I myself live in Bulgaria, Dubai and 3 months in the UK (which sorry i hate it there) so affraid wont be available for the concert and meeting you girls, sorry. As for Spa breaks i live in a mountain village 30 minutes away from the Greek and Turkish border which is a mineral bath spa area and people all over the world come here to relax as it is fantastic and so cheap you would not believe, with 320 sunny days a year, Bulgaria is not what people think, we have shopping mails, health spas, fantastic resturants and there is nothing you cannot get here that you cannot get in the UK but so much cheaper, honestly been here just over 6 years now and it is fantastic, as for G countryside, Forests, Lakes, Mountains it is G paradise without the buracracy, green laning heaven.

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Hi Lara, Bulgaria joined the EU in 2007 so any EU national country ie England you can come here without a visa and stay as long as you like, my hubby has many Ltd companies here that he has set up with over 3700 clients from all over the world and hand on heart everyone loves it here, so much so he has helped 10 familys to move and live over here, its that good all are saying they wish they had done it sooner and will never go back to the countries they came from (mostly English). Once you see the sunshine and how much unspoilt countryside we have here along with the wildlife and to cap it all the cost of living , it is so cheap you would not believe, we where buying detached stoone built houses in the countryside and mountains 6 years ago for as little as 600 GB Pound yes 600 with large gardens 1 Acre plus, now what they are worth you would not believe, those days are gone as on January 2007 joining the EU everything doubled over night but its still very very cheap here, what you pay out in one month (ie bills food petrol etc) i bet i dont pay this out in 1 YEAR . We only have 10 million people in a country the same size as the UK albeit a different shape, you have 16 million that they know off in London alone. So the roads are empty, no speed cameras, traffic wardens, double yellow lines, i got stopped in my early days doing 154 km in a 30 km (going through a village straight road nobody on it early hours of the morning) yes bad girl but police car with hand held gun got me pulled me over told me off and it cost me 5 GBP , no point nothing, i would have lost my licence in the UK. Now all of our 9 vehicles have whisper Radar detectors, legal over here and never been stopped since. Just nobody on the roads, what joy.
Well Bulgaria is the place for Gs its paradise believe me, UK IS A RIP OFF sorry but 80,000 brits who are saying it that live here cant all be wrong,
take care Spanner Anna x

Oh Spider1v you do make me laugh but its nice to know who is the educated one out of us and it isnt you lol.

anyone with brains can work it out england will be a country ruled by non Brits one day, just look at the crime you now have and i am sorry but who are doing it, sorry but it has to be said, kids not even in there teens killing others, etc. FACTS ARE FACTS as published on the news, oh yes we have sky TV over here at a fraction of the price so keep upto date with what is happeneing in the UK.

The money we earn we keep and spread it around to less fortunate people here, we employ 52 workers and look after them all, treat people how you would want to be treated yourself.
Try doing that in the UK, pat on the back are you kidding me, no jeaulosy, vehicles damaged, Burgled Houses, Mugged, Robbed and that just the Government, Sorry the intelligent ones left the UK a long time ago and now have quality of life and happiness with money in their pockets and do they go back NO, what to ? why would they ?

Well sorry getting on my soap box but Facts Are Facts and being a religous girl at heart i only speak the Truth.

Public school educated , darling? Or get in to Oxford on scholarship? :P

Would not disagree with you one iota - HOWEVER when it comes to a stable environment, despite all the teens killing each other over here, the UK has been one of the most stable countries for over 300 years.

When things flare up, we send in the riot police and a few head get dented - however when things flare up both in the Balkans and ME - things tend to get rather scary. I do value my security, I also respect others who like the 'pioneering' spirit and when things eventually kick off - I will make sure you have a room to stay....

Once this idiot of a Government is gone, and we get some one who is a realist, a set of steel balls and the abiliy to cut through the crap then I hope Blighty becomes what it once was, a great place and not just a place.......

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Sorry Spider, but in your dreams we have been here for over 6 years now and Bulgaria is not what you think it is have you been?
Well i have lived in the UK for 25 years and remember the recession and what it done to people, read the news, 20,000 people had their house reposed last month in the UK, property has been de-valued by up to 46% in less than a year, yet look at your increase in utility bills, do your wages go up by this amount? i think not , so those that found it difficult to survive how are they going to manage now, they don’t. Why are big companies laying people off, No pay rises either. Look at the money people have lost in Banking, shares etc and i haven’t even started on the weather, Politics, Traffic, Cost of general living with fuel prices and cigarette prices the highest in Europe. Get real find out some true fact about Bulgaria before you knock it, just as i have with my UK facts.
Bulgaria is in investors polls the Number 1 place to invest beating China into 2nd place, we had a property growth rate of 42% in 2006 52% in 2007 and 48% in 2008. Bulgaria is very stable as it was a communist country some 19 years ago, we have a very strong economy with a young Government who got us in the EU, please don’t knock what you don’t know as the Truth is best don’t you think, and yes a private boarding school, Uni and Graduated, Mechanic and G is my hobby as a little eccentric like my husband, helps to have a change once in awhile. As for a room in Blighty, thanks but no thanks as we have 4 detached house which we rent out in and around Oxford so no need, Plus some in Dubai, Tampa Florida, El Gouna Egypt, Msida Malta, Marbella southern Spain and many more, England will sink before i go back to live for my Safety sake, its so safe here you would not believe but then you only know what your brain wants to tell you. If I am wrong then I apologise.

Sorry but i speak my mind with the TRUTH AND FACTS something you learn when you go to church as we do.
Nothing meant as we are taught forgiveness in church but the Truth is best don’t you think, it would make the world a better place if more people tried it, Take care and regards Anna

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

We need a bit of an off-topic section, or perhaps that is the Chat section.

Very interesting views. Honestly when I first came here 9 years ago I was more or less sold on the place. But things change and I have met loads of interesting people and seen a lot of the country. While I respect the "British" system and way of doing things, especially in contrast to their cousins across the pond, recently the decline in society has become worrying.

Yes it might only be the odd event here or there, a burglary at your neighbour, pensioner gets killed for £5, man kills his father, father kills his son, etc, but these are all signs of decay if you'll excuse the expression. No matter how robust your "system" when the basic building block of society (the family) deteriorates then it is time to worry.

I sincerely hope things improve...we don't need any more "unstable" places in this world; we have enough already, as those widely travelled will attest!

What an amusing forum..never thought I'd see this kind of discussion here lol..now watch the admin lock the post..oh sorry we're not in the "other" forum

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Hi M2dxb,

Yes totally agree and to be honest as i always am i joined this website to talk about G wagens and like minded people , not to talk politics/state of the world economy/listen to jokes that can be offensive at times to some.
There are other websites for that, this is all about Gs and helping like minded people enjoy the G world.

This world has many problems so lets stop adding more to it and enjoy life and help other people as best we can, be nice you get nice back, simple really, take care all Spanner Anna,

M2dxb, thanks for the private message and totally agree with you x

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Well the chat section is really for discussion about pretty much anything.

Many of the people on this forum are friends whether real or virtual and do like to talk with each other about things other than Gs once in a while.

In the same manner that you can not say to friends sitting around a table in the same room, that politics or whatever are not allowed to be discussed, so too does that apply here.

We do however draw the line at anything offensive such as personal attacks or racism and will delete or edit posts without warning.

All we ask is that people respect each other and be aware that there are also a few members' children that read this forum. If you bear those two facts in mind, then as far as the moderators are concerned let the conversations roll where they may.

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Well based on this thread and the other so called “Joke For Friday” thread I’m afraid administrator interference is a little over due. Damage done in that tread I’m afraid though. As it’s blocked I’ll circumvent and pour some more petrol on the fire (unless the administrator gets hold of this!)

There are certain people on this forum who have displayed an astonishing degree of arrogance. It is not “politically correct bull manure” to challenge such pathetic behaviour. I enjoy some political incorrectness but I am capable of recognising where and when it‘s appropriate. It was blatantly obvious that this forum was the incorrect place to post such junk. It was racist- fact, it was sexist - fact. Worse still, I’ve had tooth ache that was funnier.

This was pointed out by a member (who was then personally attacked). Show some respect for peoples feelings and you may get some in return.

Shame on this forum.

(None of this is directed at you Spanner Anna)

lol I think had Helen known it would come to this she wouldn't have opened this can of worms  but realistically if we only have 1 moderator he can't be expected to witness/read everything and edit accordingly. How about if you feel something is not right..send him a PM?

Too right :!:

Its come along way from how many women look at this forum but interesting one of the most read and commented on topics :!:

I really believe that those who have possibly over stepped the mark with the jokes and the critisims have learnt something from the recent events and will be more careful in future posts. This of course is applicable to my other post 'a joke for Friday' which is now securely kept under lock and key.

Am I getting myself a reputation :?:
Perhaps a crash course in Mercedes Mechanics would enable me to comment on the other areas of this forum that I currently have no knowledge, and then keep me out of trouble

I really think that this should now be the end of it.

To All Members:

If i have said something offensive to anyone then i appoligise to one and all.

I Joined this fantastic website purely to talk to like minded people and to help others where i can, as we are taught in the church we attend here in Bulgaria.

I may be a female that can use a spanner but i am sorry, i am also a human being that enjoys life to the full and as said before my motto is: be nice and you will get nice back, so simple yet for some so difficult to do.

Anyway appoligise once again sincerly if i have offended anyone, still learning in life, but enjoying sunny Bulgaria

kind regards Spanner Anna

Yes Helen, I have learnt something from the recent events and will be more careful in the future..... For a start I will take some time to reconsider whether to continue posting in a forum where one cannot post innocent jokes without being accused of being a racist or a sexist or God-knows-what. Obviously thre wasn't any intention to offend any of my many female or Irish friends with whom I have shared these jokes before and will continue to do in the future.

Re: How many woman look at this forum? - A quick survey

Well if I have offended anyone, I never meant to.

I will carry on posting, but will make sure that warnings are also included. Those of you should know my SOH by now, so those of a PC/ nervous disposition please take care! My aim was purely to make a smile, especially during these tying times. (for those who are stuck on the Island  )

I do value other people feelings, but maybe we should have a joke section? (as previously mentioned) then those of us who like some of the 'G Humour' can dip in, smile and dip out again!

So if it is Clean it will have (clean or a C)
if Not so clean and may offend, if I am posting it will have (Dirty or a D)

What about this to relieve the boredom - no its not a riddle incase you are panicing

(this joke does appear to be slightly racy - PLEASE do not read on if you may be offended)

What Starts with F and ends with K

A first-grade teacher, Ms. Brooks, was having trouble with one of her students. The teacher asked,
'Harry, what's your problem? '

Harry answered,'I'm too smart for the 1st grade. My sister is in the 3rd grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the 3rd grade too!'

Ms. Brooks had, had enough. She took Harry to the principal's office..

While Harry waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was. The principal told Ms. Brooks he would give the boy a test. If he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the 1st grade and behave. She agreed.
Harry was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.

Principal:'What is 3 x 3?'

Harry:'9..'

Principal: 'What is6 x 6?'

Harry:'36.'

And so it went with every question the principal thought a 3rd grader should know.

The principal looks at Ms. Brooks and tells her,
'I think Harry can go to the 3rd grade.'

Ms. Brooks says to the principal,
'Let me ask him some questions.'

The principal and Harry both agreed.

Ms. Brooks asks,'What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?'

Harry, after a moment:'Legs.'

Ms Brooks:'What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?'

The principal wondered why would she ask such a question!

Harry replied:'Pockets.'

Ms. Brooks:'What does a dog do that a man steps into?'

Harry:'Pants..'

Ms. Brooks: 'What starts with a C, ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin, whitish liquid?'
Harry:'Coconut.'

The principal sat forward with his mouth hanging open.

Ms. Brooks:'What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky?'

The principal's eyes opened really wide and before he could stop the answer,
Harry replied,'Bubble gum.'

Ms. Brooks: 'What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a dog does on three legs?'

Harry:'Shake hands.'

The principal was trembling.

Ms. Brooks:'What word starts with an 'F' and ends in 'K' that means a lot of heat and excitement?'

Harry: 'fire truck.'

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and told the teacher,
'Put Harry in the fifth-grade, I got the last seven questions wrong.....
