Re: interior lights not coming on when door opens!

I am not sure how the headliner lights are in an LWB 1991 463, but the 1999-2000 LWBs had a 3-position switch on the lights for the rear doors, off/on when door opens/on permanently.

Also have you checked the bulbs? How do you know the triggers are okay, try switching them with one that you know to be working.

Had the same problem. Also thought the door switches were fine (worked ok when pushed by hand), but they weren't. Keep in mind the interior light works via a courtesy relais that switches the light off after a few seconds. Changing the switches is cheap (€ 8,- a piece) and easy, so a good place to start.
