I will list what i have done as follows.

1.Checked bulb. This is working fine. I changed the blub with the left one and i works fine. I have checked all contacts and they are fine.
Both Front blinkers work, as does the rear left.
When i put the hazzards on, only the front right works??

Checked No 7 (Fuse Box I) Turning signal system, Hazard warning flasher, Headlight washer system, Clock, Plug socket, Reading Light, Central interlock system automatic antenna. 8 Amps.

Looked fine and i tried a replacement and swapping, still no joy??

Under closer checking, i found that my rear fog is out!! Ordered New Blub.
Also Headlight washer system not wronging.. I now not sure what to try next.

Would be very interested in the solution as I have the same thing (but passenger rear). Exact same circumstances apart from every so often it fixes itself - no pattern just works for a while then stops....loose earth connection?

Re: Right rear blinker Not Working??

Hi that would be the most likely...petrols suffer more from bad earth continuity than diesels......I have a friend with a petrol 280 ge where everything works perfectly in the rain....but when dry.. if I turn the sidelights on I get spurious heat and fuel level indications plus intermittent rpm. if I run an earth direct from the negative battery terminal to any metal frame of the instrument cluster. all is well...poor earth continuity through the bulkhead appears to be the problem...... yours is probably body earth return around the back end.bring a negative feed from the battery to an area close to the problem...it might help you find the reason....a Megga meter is a great help .......

Thanks for the reply. I will have a closer look this coming weekend, work permitting. Cheers i will keep you posted. What megga meter would you recommend. I was also going to check with a muti meter to see if a current was present to the connection.

Glad you sorted it. One more question, how the hell do you get 24.7mpg? You must be towing it most of time!

My last 1986 - 300GDS was nearer , if not just over 30mpg, with regular servicing (6/7k miles average) slik 50, large dia tyres & take that dang viscous fan off ! go electric when needed.

& anything oily & flamable filled the tank
wondeful......never missed a beat 640K miles & still going strong. No rebuild !

Yes been asked this many times before.. Im going to start the tracking of the miles again? Maybe wrong input at some point?! Not sure?! I do run the max size tyre stated in the manual..But with the mpg beening double of any other wagen of a simlar age, i pointing the finger towards the wife...
